Breakfast with a Side of… is a series of forums that provides Chamber Members an excellent opportunity to learn about the issues affecting the Scottsdale area business community. The forum is structured on dialogue between those leaders making policy decisions and Chamber Members. Each forum will feature a conversation with influential leaders in Scottsdale. Forums will be highlighted by guest speakers, a moderator and will allow plenty of time for questions and answers.

Recreational marijuana is legal in the states of Alaska, Colorado, Oregon and Washington. Will Arizona be next? After the passing of Prop 203 in 2010, new dispensaries for medical marijuana began to pop up in the valley. This November, the legalization of recreational marijuana is on the ballot as Prop 205. Recently, Microsoft broke a corporate taboo by announcing their partnership with a cannabis industry focused Software Company that tracks marijuana sales. The fact is, times are changing and questions are being raised. How could this change in policy impact our workforce and community? What are the potential benefits? What are the potential consequences? Let us keep you informed by attending our non-biased, informational forum to answer any questions you might have on this initiative.
