Ben Cooper Brings Extensive Knowledge of Local Government and Consulting In Order To Help Businesses Grow
(SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.) – Scottsdale based Rose Law Group pc is proud to announce the hiring of Ben Cooper, an experienced business consultant and former member of the Gilbert Town Council and Vice President of Business Development for the Greater Phoenix Economic Council (GPEC). Cooper joins Rose Law Group as a Senior Project Manager.
“It’s an honor to join Jordan Rose and her innovative team,” said Cooper. “I look forward to combining my land development experience and the knowledge and contacts I recently gained as a Town Council member in Gilbert to help clients achieve their goals wherever they are in the Valley and beyond.”
Cooper recently worked as a project management consultant, providing guidance to businesses of all sizes as they navigated the approvals process at the municipal, county, and state levels. Cooper also spent nearly five years as a member of the Gilbert Town Council. He was first appointed to the Gilbert Town Council to fill a vacancy, and was elected to a full term in May 2011 after receiving overwhelming constituent support. Prior to the Gilbert Town Council, Cooper was a member of the Gilbert General Plan steering committee and chaired the subcommittee on economic development, energy, and the environment.
Before working as an independent project management consultant, Cooper was a vice president of business development for the Greater Phoenix Economic Council (GPEC). During his six years with GPEC, he helped develop the organization’s strategic initiatives, enhanced business development activities, and improved the region’s competitiveness by undertaking analyses in tax and fiscal policies.

Raised in Gilbert, Cooper earned his bachelor’s degree in 1995 from Brigham Young University, where he majored in International Relations. After graduating, he moved back to Arizona and earned his MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in 1997, where he concentrated his studies in International Business.
Cooper is a music enthusiast and sings baritone in the East Valley Millennial Choirs and Orchestra. When he is away from the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Milena, and three daughters.
