Rose Law Group Expands Again In 2015 With Class Action Law Attorney
The largest woman owned law firm in state history, and the most enterprising today, has added an attorney with 15 years of class action law experience as the new Chair of the Class Action Department at Scottsdale based Rose Law Group pc.
One year ago the firm purchased the third floor in Scottsdale’s Southbridge development on the Arizona Canal to accommodate the firm’s growth to 49 employees.
Kathryn Honecker has successfully litigated numerous class actions and other complex commercial litigation.
Kathryn comes to the Rose law Group after serving as a shareholder in the Phoenix office of a well-respected class action law firm. She has a proven track record in successful class action litigation including being on the trial team that recovered $145 million dollars for a class of shareholders seeking relief under federal securities laws.
Honecker has represented plaintiffs in a variety of complex and class action lawsuits, including cases claiming breach of contract, fraud, consumer fraud, antitrust violations, racial discrimination, Ponzi schemes, civil rights violations, and employment and wage issues.
Class action law often involves challenging the conduct of powerful, multi-million dollar corporations. The Rose Law Group has the experience to level that playing field through the collective power of class action litigation.
The attorneys in Rose Law Group’s Class Action Department have successfully represented parties in a variety of cases:
- Breach of Contract
- Fraud
- Ponzi Schemes
- Personal Injury
- Product Liability
- Employee Benefits
- Sports Litigation
- Civil Rights
- Securities Fraud
- Pharmaceutical Fraud
- Employment and Wage Disputes
Honecker said, “Class action law requires attorneys not only work collaboratively, but also be well-versed in developing legal trends. The attorneys at the Rose Law Group are well-versed in the latest case law and other developments in class litigation.”
Honecker’s experience earned her co-chairmanship of the Class Action and Derivative Suits Committee of the American Bar Association’s Section of Litigation. She has been included in Super Lawyers’ list of Rising Stars for her class action work (2012, 2013), The National Trial Lawyers’ list of “Top 100 Trial Lawyers” for Arizona (2015), and AZ Business Magazine’s “Arizona’s Top Lawyers” list (2014).
In addition to serving plaintiffs, RLG’s corporate litigation team is able to employ effective strategies in class action defense including business, environmental, insurance, and real estate related litigation.
Honecker earned her law degree, cum laude, from Creighton University School of Law.
