
Cole is an experienced lobbyist in local and statewide government affairs in Arizona with a successful track record working on issues from water policy to planning and zoning, and economic development.
Cole was most recently Vice President of Government Relations for Dorn Policy Group in Phoenix where he represented the firm’s clients at the Arizona capitol for seven years. Prior to that, he served as the Manager of the Business Services Section for The Arizona Department of Economic Security and earlier was as an AmeriCorps VISTA for City of Phoenix Vice Mayor Kate Gallego.
Cole is actively engaged in the community and currently serves on the Board of Western Maricopa Coalition, WESTMARC, a public-private partnership of 15 communities, the business community, and the educational sector in the West Valley. Recently, Cole joined the board of Silent Witness, a non-profit that rewards anonymous “tipsters” who report violent crimes around the valley. He also works with other organizations including the Central Arizona Project and Arizona Municipal Water Users Association. Recognized for his work, Cole was nominated for Best Lobbyist and Rising Political Star in 2024 by the Arizona Capitol Times.
Cole was born and raised in Tempe and earned a bachelor’s in political science with a minor in sustainability at Arizona State University. He also completed certificates in International Affairs and Civic Education. During his free time, you can find Cole on a Pickleball court, rooting for Arizona sports teams, and spending time with family and friends.
