Amber Knapp

Amber is an associate in the Government Relations department and planner on the Land Development Solutions team, with a BA in Urban Economic Development from Cleveland State University. She is the Vice Chair for AAEDs Emerging Leaders Committee and serves on the Paradise Valley Village Planning Committee. She has spent her career working on behalf of private development interests of all categories on land use issues and entitlements. 

Amber has extensive experience with rezoning, general and comprehensive plan amendments, real estate land use due diligence, variances, use permits, design review, site plan review, public outreach, consensus building, code updates, text amendments, public sector planning, public meetings and presentations.  She is also adept at using GIS, and is passionate about public participation and community outreach efforts. 

Amber effectively collaborates and provides management services coordinating between engineering firms, architects, and land-use attorneys.  She handles a diverse portfolio of projects from small-scale residential and master-planned communities to commercial and industrial developments.
