Amusement park gets first approval from Casa Grande commission before big crowd; Rose Law Group Director of Transactions, Cameron Carter, makes the pitch

The City Hall Council Chambers were packed with people Thursday night.

Citizens stood, huddled outside the chambers’ entrance and along the room’s walls, curious to hear about an amusement park being developed in Casa Grande.

Block Sports Company was seeking approval of a land-use request for 1,500 acres it plans to develop into a destination resort. In a unanimous vote, the Casa Grande Planning and Zoning Commission recommended the company’s request to the City Council.
