PHOENIX, AZ (April 26, 2023) – Blue Origin, a private space company, today celebrated the grand opening of its new office in Phoenix, Arizona. The new 43,288-square-foot office will contribute to avionics, systems engineering, and supply chain management across Blue Origin’s programs. Blue Origin has already hired more than 100 people for its Phoenix office and expects to hire hundreds more.
Blue Origin leadership celebrated the grand opening alongside Arizona Commerce Authority President and CEO Sandra Watson, Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego, community leaders and Blue Origin employees.
“Blue Origin is thrilled to invest in the Valley and open our site in Phoenix, which offers a vast amount of aerospace engineering and manufacturing talent and excellent universities and trade schools statewide,” said Michael Edmonds, Senior Vice President of Strategy, Marketing, and Sales, Blue Origin. “This partnership will accelerate our mission to reduce the cost of access to space resources for the benefit of Earth.”
The new office is hiring positions to support operations from program management and supply chain to avionics, systems engineering, and analysis. These positions include engineering functions, mission design, integration, and software across launch vehicle and space system programs.
